I am an evolving geologist with a structure background. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in the spring of 2021 with a B.S. in Geology. I am currently a first-year Graduate student at Rice University in the Earth, Environment, and Planetary Sciences department. I am a member of the Rice Rock Deformation group led by Dr. Melodie French. Prior to working with Dr. French, I was a research assistant at Georgia Southern University working under Dr. Timothy Diedesch. During this tenure, I did fieldwork in the lower Piedmont region of the Appalachians in central and eastern Georgia. I produced an undergraduate thesis focused on the Modoc shear zone and the deformation fabrics associated with the mountain building during the Alleghanian Orogeny. After graduating in the spring of 2021, I began working in the exploration industry at Piedmont Lithium studying lithium pegmatites in North Carolina.
